This second book will soon be completed and will be the first of my Stepping Stones that will give you the words of El Daoud, the Father-King. The information that you will find contained in it was channelled by HIM through a Medium only known as HIS Pen, which began as waking Visions in the years 1907, 1919 and 1920.
I have chosen NOT to re-write the original but to re-present it to you as first written but have added illustrations and separate text of my own to highlight HIS ancient wisdom in order to aid better understanding.
Over time you will begin to understand why we are here and what we have to do to overcome the forces that bind us to the physical world and to finally become one with our maker.

A few years ago I, Dave Manley, (known in Pagan Circles as "Dave the Flute") was persuaded to go on a retreat by Emma Restall-Orr of the Druid Network. It was the Moon Tide retreat at Hollycomb and was fascilitated to allow the flow of elusive power of inspiration: AWEN. The Awen came to me so strongly that it changed the course of my musical life.
The main elements of this change were a Druid musician by the name of Wayne Avanson, a lovely lady whose part in the story is not yet for the telling, and the Hive Spirit of a piece of Ancient Woodland. Suffice it to say she has become an inspiration, a muse and an energy behind getting this music in place, the Woodlands lives in my soul and he is the musical craftsman of dreams.
This is still work in progress and will still take some time to be completed; its conclusion being in the hands of Deity, its inspiration powered by Awen, nurtured by Shamanic path and crafted by a Druid touch.
If you have had your sound turned on as you joined the site then you will have already heard a single track called AWEN. This is the only track I will place here in complete form as its already spreading round the country, handed from one friend to another. So for the record I thought to explain its origin. The other tracks are all small snippets of about 45 seconds to give you an idea of what will be in the completed work.
All the pieces have as their source some touch from other worlds, spiritual events, traces of race memory and what I have brought back from Shamanic journeys.
Awen came about because I wanted to show honour to the Spirit of the Hive of the Ancient Woodland in which I was working. I was gifted by the Spirits of Place some Hogweed, washed clean of poison by time and rain, soft clay from a tiny brook and the fallen twigs and leaves around me. After meditating for a time, I fashioned a flute from the elements around me and allowed its notes to be tuned, not to a concert pitch and tempered scale, but to match the feel and flow of the Forest. Later that day I played it in Ritual, but like the leaves and plants from which it was made, its life was short and it returned to the soil.
Its music however lived on as I returned home a few days later, I made another flute to recreate what had been heard in the forest; this passed then through the craftsmanship of Avey becoming the music I now call AWEN.
